East Coast Nannies follows the high standards of the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) and the International Nanny Association (INA). Our clients deserve nothing less than top-quality service and child care.

Our minimum requirements include:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • High-School Diploma
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience
  • Valid in-state driver’s license
  • Full coverage car insurance
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Agreement to undergo an in-depth background check
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Access to a personal checking account

Often times our nannies have more experience and qualifications than just the minimum requirements and can offer additional valuable services to families. Just a few examples of this include tutoring, household management, musical instrument instruction, fluency in a second language, religious knowledge or sports skills.

We understand that there are many other additional attractive qualities and skills that nannies possess and look forward to hearing about your particular skills and abilities.

We provide all nannies with:

  • Coaching regarding negotiating contracts based on particular needs
  • Training to ensure expectations are executed and understood
  • Resources to further expertise in areas of individual interest
  • Continuous support throughout any job obtained through ECN

Pay and Benefits

With high standards comes increased responsibility and higher pay. Our long-term placement nannies typically make between $18 and $25. We advocate for some of the best pay in New England for our nannies. At ECN we want you to feel comfortable in your personal life as well as in your professional life.
